The Flow Interrupted

The three-dimensional installation reconstructs the main bed of Kurbağalıdere, a stream in Istanbul, and its dried-up branches using linear forms made of aluminum foil. This sculptural structure, suspended from the ceiling down to the floor, brings the interrupted nature of the stream's flow and the lost ecological continuity into the space as a physical trace.
